The Vegetable Gardener’s Book of Building Projects
The Vegetable Gardener’s Book of Building Projects is an awesome resource book if you are considering gardening this year, or in years to come. This year my husband and I are trying to be even more frugal and green. The Vegetable Gardener’s Book of Building Projects includes 39 essentials to increase the bounty and beauty of your garden so I knew I had to at least try it. What did I have to lose right? While Spring has been here for awhile this Spring has been wet, cold and now snowy in May here in Missouri. While I don’t like the weather, I’m not letting it get me down and I’m continuing to plan my garden from the inside of the house.
When Mr. SMSL saw that I was planning out things for him to build, he was less than thrilled but I know he will enjoy it once he sets out to do so. I will help him where I can but for the most part building projects are all his baby, I just him my honey do list and it will eventually get done.
The Vegetable Gardener’s Book of Building Projects has several amazing projects I on the Mr. SMSL honey do list including the following: A deep raised bed for the front of the house, an A frame bean support, a handy house for holding a few odds and ends we use for gardening.
I also requested a potting bench for the garden as well, but I did ask him to get some old pallets to make them out of cutting down our out of pocket expenses as well as recycling at the same time.
Watch for updates as Mr. SMSL finishes his projects but in the mean time check out this awesome book on Storey publishing as well as on Amazon! The Vegetable Gardener’s Book of Building Projects: 39 Essentials to Increase the Bounty and Beauty of Your Garden is only $13.93!!
